Greg Ehrlich is a chef and food enthusiast based in Seattle, WA. When not cooking, he enjoys the mountains, water skiing, making music with friends and napping.


My goal is to (hopefully) entertain, to inspire, to self-deprecate, and to share life with those interested.

On this blog I plan on posting a variety of content. Touring 250+ days a year as a musician provides for a few entertaining anecdotes and adventures on the road, be it having a loss for words when finally meeting my celebrity crush Sara Bareilles, having too many words when meeting my hero Ben Folds, poor decisions at a Burger King located inside of a Minnesota rest stop (food poisoning), and my triumphs and frequent defeats trying to navigate the maze that is the music business.

Apart from music, much of my blog will focus on my other love- all things culinary. I’ll post personal recipes, recaps of restaurants and dining experiences, and announcements of culinary events I’m hosting. Excuse the pun but it will be lighter fare.

Finally, on this blog I’ll post the occasional rant or deep thought. I don’t consider myself much of a writer, and a quick google search could provide a reader with many who could much more poignantly relay matters from the heart, but when I feel I have something worthwhile to say I’ll use this blog as the soapbox.

    FINALLY….have been waiting for this to finally take place. My favorite interests all in these future postings: Cooking, Photography, Music, Travel and a bit of crazy to make it interesting..
    Another side is already adding to the mix. A budding writer. Cannot wait to turn on the computer and see what you have added..
